AMP Emulator version: v0.4.2.1 pack version
Working version: v0.3.6.6
Game: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2)
Game format: exfat
I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 using AMP Emulator v0.3.6.6, and the game was working perfectly without any issues.
After updating AMP Emulator to v0.4.2.1, the game freezes during launch and never proceeds.
To verify whether the issue was caused by the update, I reverted AMP Emulator back to v0.3.6.6, and the game immediately started working normally again.
I used the v0.4.2.1 pack version. Is that the correct version to use, or should I use the v0.4.2.1 no-pack version instead?
Or is this likely a regression/bug introduced in v0.4.2.1?
Since the exact same game works perfectly with v0.3.6.6, it seems that something changed between these versions that affects MW2.
