I am using your PS5 PKG Manager without a laptop by hosting an SMB server directly from Android using MiXplorer on custom port 4450. The SMB server connects successfully on the PS5, but when I run a scan, no PKG files are detected at all. I have tried placing the PKG files directly in the root directory (/storage/emulated/0/) as well as inside a subfolder, but the scan either takes a very long time or completes showing 0 PKGs.
If this is a bug with how custom SMB ports or Android SMB directory paths are handled, please fix it, or kindly add better support for Android-hosted SMB servers so PKG files can be properly scanned and detected.
Try this build, it has simplified SMB setup, so you don't have to input share name or path manually anymore.

Now its not even letting me add my smb server into pkg manager ! i wrote ip address and port 4450 username is sunny and my password , whenever i am trying to select Share* it says "No results in BIND ACK (red text ) , i am also attaching some images from mi explorer and pkg manager , its really pain in the *** to first download 100 gb in phone then ftp to console and then install , if you somehow cracked this , I can't tell how how happy I'd be , Please man ! see if you could ! THANKS IN ADVANCE ( images attached )
MiXplorer uses an ancient SMB1 protocol for its server, which isn't supported.
Our smb client (
libsmb2) supports only SMB2 and SMB3.You can try installing the pkg directly via browser (
http://[ps5 ip]:8844), it should work on Android. You need to keep the browser page open during the install though.
