HTML5 Drag and Drop is not working in the interactive mode. A simple example can be seen at http://html5demos.com/drag.
The Drag and Drop functionality is included in CEF and can be seen under User Interaction on https://html5test.com/.
It could be either a limitation of the interaction window in OBS, or maybe it's something that needs to be enabled somewhere I guess?
It looks like HTML5 Drag & Drop does not work in CEF (most of the time) when using off-screen rendering, which I believe is how CEF is used in obs-browser.
According to Marshall in the above linked CEF issue, the problem is supposed to be fixed in CEF 81, however on macOS with CEF 85, this still happens in our configuration. This makes me think this may be caused by our code somehow (related to how we capture & pass on cursor events from the Interact window to CEF). Therefore I'm leaving this open and removing the "Waiting for CEF upstream" tag.
greater than free insight here.
