Current SDK release
2.2.0is pegged to TinyUSB version 0.18.0. Please update it as it incorporates important changes.so i just tried the new host code, and whilst it works, it is 2.5k bigger than the old code, which isn't great for size constrained applications which worked fine before...
I think we should look at simplifying the code (e,g. off the top of my head the allocation/deallocation of eps) by
#definefor ppl who just want to do something simpleTinyUSB should be hopefully releasing a new version very soon: https://github.com/hathach/tinyusb/discussions/3229#discussioncomment-17129613
we are going to push this to a point release as soon as it is ready (current tip of TinyUSB doesn't compile with SDK)
(we can pick up a fix for TinyUSB host size too (https://github.com/hathach/tinyusb/issues/3688)
TinyUSB 0.21.0 was released yesterday!
Hello,
just found this "issue" when I was searching for a reason TinyUSB was not upgraded with the 2.3.0 Pico release either.
I just wanted to add my note here as we are actually waiting for a bug that was fixed with TinyUSB 0.21.0 - so would be really happy if the next Pico release could include a TinyUSB upgrade as well.
For us the size change wouldn't matter, but I can understand, of course, that there might be more size-constrained applications.
Best regards and thanks for considering
Andreas
