  Note

  The patched .db files may have a different modification time and shrink a bit, this is normal.

  

  Linux, FreeBSD & macOS Usage

  Debian / Ubuntu / Mint

  Installation

  1. Download linux-x64.zip and extract it
  2. Install required packages using sudo apt-get install dotnet-runtime-8.0 curl gpg wget libice6 libsm6 libx11-6 libfontconfig1
  3. Open a terminal inside the extracted folder
  4. Run sudo chmod -R a+wx * to set required permissions
  5. Start YT2JB Toolbox using ./YT2JB-Toolbox

  Arch

  Installation

  3. Download linux-x64.zip and extract it
  4. Install required packages using sudo pacman -Syu dotnet-runtime-8.0 awk wget libice libsm libx11 fontconfig freetype2 ttf-dejavu libglvnd
  5. Open a terminal inside the extracted folder
  6. Run sudo chmod -R a+wx * to set required permissions
  7. Start YT2JB Toolbox using ./YT2JB-Toolbox

  Fedora

  Installation

  1. Download linux-x64.zip and extract it
  2. Install required packages using sudo dnf install dotnet-runtime-8.0 awk curl gpg wget libICE libSM libX11 fontconfig freetype
  3. Extract the downloaded archive and open a terminal inside the extracted folder
  4. Run sudo chmod -R a+wx * to set required permissions
  5. Start YT2JB Toolbox using ./YT2JB-Toolbox

  FreeBSD

  Installation

  1. Download freebsd-x64.zip and extract it
  2. Install required FreeBSD packages using sudo pkg install lang/dotnet8 devel/libepoll-shim x11/libICE x11/libSM x11-fonts/fontconfig x11-toolkits/libgdiplus xdg-utils
  3. Enable Linux binary compatibility using

  • sysrc linux_enable="YES"
  • service linux start

  4. Install required FreeBSD-Linux packages using sudo pkg install linux_base-rl9 linux-rl9-icu-67.1_2 linux-rl9-fontconfig-2.14.0_2 linux-rl9-freetype-2.10.4_3 linux-rl9-wget-1.21.1_1 linux-rl9-ffmpeg-libs-5.1.6_3 linux-rl9-dbus-libs-1.12.20_3 linux-rl9-at-spi2-atk-2.38.0_1 linux-rl9-atk-2.36.0_1 linux-rl9-cups-libs-2.3.3_8 linux-rl9-libxkbcommon-1.0.3_2 linux-rl9-alsa-lib-1.2.13

  1. Download osx-x64.zip and extract it
  2. Open a Terminal and cd inside the extracted folder
  3. Run sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine * to remove the quarantine status
  4. Run sudo chmod -R a+wx * to set required permissions
  5. Start YT2JB Toolbox using ./YT2JB-Toolbox
