Delete branch "shared_irq_handler"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

So the bug is that we search for the correct slot pointer to free, but then use an index calculated with the initial value of the pointer? Fix seems fine.
I added a few comments to parts of irq_handler_chain.S that were a bit mysterious to me when I read through the code.
